Longitude (Längengrad): 7.725373

IMPORTANT NOTE: Our Backstage-Entrances are always signposted with “PARK WEST”

Please make sure you follow the driving instructions given here.

Your Navi might be smart and tells you there are quicker options (especially in case of a traffic jam) but believe us, there are none. DO NOT GO THROUGH THE LÖTSCHBERG TUNNEL unless you have checked the vehicle size and the timetable with the link given below.

If you decide to go a different route you will end up on roads and tunnels not accessible for bigger vehicles and / or you can wave down from a high peak and enjoy the views. Honestly, please stick to the directions and inform us immediately if you get delayed or lost.

We will not be financially responsible for any delays caused by wrong routes!!

For Trucks & Coaches:

From the North:
Drive from Bern to Lausanne or Montreux, Sion, Sierre, Gampel (2.5 h from Bern)

One of our securities and / or the stage manager will guide you to your allocated bus/truck or Van parking area.

DRESSING ROOMS / PRIVATE AREA

The dressing-room portacabins are located in the private backstage area.

In the backstage area, you will find the artist catering tent, where breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served. Drinks will be prepared in your dressing room according to your rider. Please note that we prefer to source local products wherever possible. Some items may not be available in Switzerland. Our caterer, Sam, will contact you two to three weeks prior to the festival to confirm your requirements and discuss any necessary substitutions.

Please note that the festival does not provide restaurant buy-outs. There is also no suitable restaurant in close proximity to the site.

Openair Gampel has developed its own sustainability concept, including a range of measures and new infrastructure for waste separation and waste management. The aim is to significantly reduce the overall amount of waste and increase the proportion of recycled materials. However, these measures alone are not enough. We also need your support.

The most important contribution you can make at our festival to help reduce food and drink waste is to adjust the quantities in your rider to the actual size of your travelling party and to what you genuinely want and are able to consume.

We would also like to avoid providing food in the dressing-room containers as much as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Aftershow food: We understand the need for aftershow food, and we’re happy to make sure no hungry mouth goes unfed. At the same time, we really want to avoid unnecessary food waste. In previous years, large amounts of aftershow food had to be thrown away, so we’ve become much more careful about how we handle this. It’s not just about wasted money, but about wasted food. We want to do better, and we can only do that with your help.

Aftershow food is therefore available exclusively as a pre-arranged selection from Artist Catering. By prior agreement, this can also be provided after Artist Catering has closed. Any additional requests, such as orders from food stalls, can be arranged, but will be charged to the artist.

Showers and toilets are available in the backstage area, close to the dressing rooms. Free Wi-Fi is also available throughout the backstage area.

All dressing rooms are located in the backstage area behind the stages.

Your dressing rooms will be available from the agreed get-in time.

Merchandise

We have a special area for all artists’ merchandise. The merchandise can only be sold within that area. We expect custom officers to check the import declaration. We refuse any responsibility for illegally imported goods. The festival merchandiser will receive 25% of gross revenue and permission to include artist’s name for the festival shirts. Artist will inform the Festival asap, if artist’s name is not to be used. As a consequence, the merchandise concession will then be 30% of gross revenue. The minimum sales fee is CHF 100,00.
