EXTRAS - ARTIST COSTS

All extras not explicitly confirmed in the deal and contract are to be paid directly by the artist. Including but not limited to: hotel, backline, ground transport, any equipment not included in the festival specs., video, pyro (also Co2) etc.

PA/Lights are exclusively according to festival specifications – any changes or additions are Artist costs.

Ground Transport needs to be arranged prior to the festival.

The festival expressly points out that transfers to and from Geneva airport are only provided outside of the train operating hours (www.sbb.ch) and are at the artist's own expense.

Nighttime transfers as well as transfers to and from Zurich are generally not offered and must be arranged independently.

Shuttle services to and from hotels can only be provided at the artist's expense and must be booked in advance. Long transfers to and from self-booked hotels must be arranged via a taxi service at the artist's expense.

There is a direct train for both routes, which also happen to be the most beautiful railroad lines in Switzerland. (duration 2 to 2.20 hours) The distance from the airport terminals to the platform, located directly at the airports, is doable even with flight cases and instruments. Our festival runners will be happy to pick you up from “Visp” train station (about 15 minutes from Gampel).

GUEST LIST

1 ticket per travel party member with a maximum of 10 tickets for your show day.
We need full names and e-mail addresses from every guest. You can send the details to Mo Thomson or pass them on to your Artist care on show day.
Each guest will receive an e-mail with a ticket voucher and directions / timings.

SUSTAINIBILITY CONCEPT – THINK GREEN, REACT GREEN

Openair Gampel focuses on comprehensive sustainability in ecology, economy, and social affairs.

Improved waste management reduced waste by 42%, 78% of visitors use public transport, and energy consumption per visitor is only 3.5 kWh. The daily attendance was reduced to 25,000 for more space and comfort. Social inclusion is key, with people with disabilities and asylum seekers integrated into festival work.

Stay Hydrated, Save Plastic

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we’ve installed several water stations and dispensers backstage, offering both chilled still and sparkling water. These are available for all musicians and crew members.

We warmly encourage all bands to make use of these water dispensers throughout the event. By choosing refillable bottles over single-use PET bottles, we can significantly reduce plastic waste together.

Thank you for helping us keep the festival green and clean!

Our Special Detox Bar for Musicians and Crews

To support your well-being during the festival, we’re excited to offer a Detox Bar exclusively for artists and crew members.

A Detox Bar is a place where you can recharge with healthy, revitalizing options – including fresh smoothies, herbal teas, vitamin shots, and nourishing snacks. It’s designed to help your body recover, boost your energy naturally, and keep you feeling your best throughout the event.

Whether you need a quick refresh after a set or just want a healthy break, we warmly invite you to stop by and enjoy!
